Sattriya dance culture representation at the Croydon Museum in London by Menaka P.P.Bora. The First lec-dem performance was on 25April’09. Menaka has been selected to represent Sattriya dance in a Major dance and music exhibition entitled Indian Strings & Dances from 10th April to 1st August 2009 at Croydon Museum. This exhibition traces the history of Indian cultural heritage, the story of the arts forms, their cultural significance and the way they have been transformed by musicians and dancers practising in Britain today.
